Healing and Recovering with Nature

Art Therapy with Honey Pathway to transformation and self discovery

I am an Anthroposophy-influenced Transpersonal Art Therapist who loves life and enjoys watching humans blossom into the best version of themselves. I have experience in one-on-one therapy sessions, group work facilitation and expressive art workshops. I am willing to engage in a genuine relationship with my clients within appropriate therapeutic boundaries. I work with many different client groups including children, teenagers, adults, the elderly and those with special needs.

The word “transpersonal” literally means “beyond the person.” Transpersonal Art Therapy is a holistic approach that focuses on the alignment and well-being of body, soul and spirit. It is a form of therapy that uses art as a language to express our innermost thoughts, feelings and emotions. Art provides a doorway, a gateway or bridge to powerful images hiding in the deep psyche that illuminate the transpersonal encounter. The therapeutic framework has much in common with the humanistic and psychodynamic approach. The therapeutic relationship is central to fostering a client’s mental, physical, social, emotional, creative, and intellectual needs in order to facilitate healing and growth. Transpersonal therapists use a variety of techniques such as art, music, journalling, guided visualisation, meditation and mindfulness practice in order to help clients explore their spiritual self, restore a sense of identity and create meaning in their life.

I facilitate nature art therapy incorporated with shamanism at The Fusion Longhouse, located at the edge of the Malaysian rainforest, near a pristine river amid misty mountains. This is a marvellous place for those who wish to reconnect with Mother Nature and stimulate their twelve senses. Spending time in raw nature, in touch with the living waters of the river, to feel the liquid prana flow all over the body; to walk in the woods, listening to the whispering wind; to breathe consciously and be fully present; tapping into Gaia’s ancient wisdom and the sacredness of life. Rituals hold the secret of healing, activating a sense of wonder and emotional resonance. Conscious interaction with Father Sky, Mother Earth – indeed, all of nature, experienced as animated and ensouled – helps us to rewire our neural circuitry and reclaim our authentic and natural selves. Art has its roots in shamanism which has always been about healing, making whole again what was broken.

The Fusion Longhouse itself offers a warm, secure and nurturing environment for people to experience the therapeutic power of transpersonal artistic expression. Imagery, colour and shape are part of the creative, therapeutic process which helps people to relax, release tensions, reconnect with their soul, and to feel at home in the body again. Our body is indeed a temple, a portal to many different levels of awareness. The therapeutic art-making process helps the individual unblock emotional and energetic resources for deep healing from within. New ways of seeing and feeling, fresh perceptions, inspiring insights and core awareness often arise spontaneously through Transpersonal Art Therapy.

Who is this for?

Transpersonal art therapy is a gentle and spacious approach for anyone who feels called to explore life more deeply, beyond surface understanding, and to meet themselves through creativity, presence, and meaning. It welcomes those who sense there is more within and around them: more connection, more wholeness, more wisdom waiting to be expressed.

It is especially supportive for those who are open to exploring both the psychological and spiritual dimensions of being human, allowing art to become a bridge between inner experience and outer expression.

Those experiencing an existential or soul-questioning phase
If you find yourself asking deeper questions about purpose, direction, or your place in the world, transpersonal art therapy offers a compassionate space to listen inwardly. Through creative expression, moments of uncertainty can be met with curiosity, insight, and a renewed sense of meaning.

Creative seekers and artists
For those who naturally speak through images, colours, movement, or symbols, this approach offers a grounded yet spacious container for deeper self-discovery. It supports you in recognising recurring themes and inner symbols, helping your creativity unfold with greater awareness and depth.

Those moving through trauma, grief, or loss
Transpersonal art therapy gently supports the processing of trauma and grief by cultivating compassion, safety, and inner holding. Through practices such as mandala work, guided imagery, and archetypal exploration, experiences of pain or loss can be approached in a nurturing way, allowing healing to emerge at its own pace.

Individuals on a spiritual path
If you are exploring meditation, mindfulness, yoga, or other spiritual practices, transpersonal art therapy can help give form to subtle inner experiences. Art becomes a way to integrate spiritual insights into everyday life, supporting embodiment, grounding, and clarity.

Those navigating life transitions
During times of change — whether in career, relationships, identity, or personal loss — this approach offers a reflective space to pause and listen. Transpersonal art therapy helps you hold these transitions within a wider life perspective, fostering resilience, clarity, and a renewed sense of direction.

People experiencing emotional or mental health challenges
As a supportive and complementary approach, transpersonal art therapy can gently address feelings of anxiety, depression, or disconnection by honouring both emotional and spiritual dimensions. It encourages self-awareness, inner empowerment, and a sense of peace rooted in personal meaning.

Therapists, caregivers, and healers
For those who hold space for others, transpersonal art therapy offers nourishment and renewal. It supports self-care, prevents burnout, and reconnects you with your own creative and empathic wellspring — reminding you why you chose this path in the first place.

At its heart, transpersonal art therapy is an invitation — to slow down, to listen deeply, and to meet yourself with kindness. It is a path for those who wish to heal, grow, and remember their connection to something larger than the self.

Join a group therapy workshop or book a one to one session – on line or in person.

Group Art Therapy”
Group art therapy gatherings are held as living, breathing spaces of shared presence and creative exploration. You may find all upcoming group offerings under Art Therapy Retreat, each shaped around a seasonal or thematic impulse.

Through gentle artistic invitations, moments of quiet meditation, and attentive group sharing, participants are guided to listen more deeply — to themselves, to one another, and to what wishes to emerge through the creative process. The group becomes a vessel of warmth and resonance, where individual journeys are supported by communal rhythm.

These workshops are held with the intention of fostering healing, cultivating a sense of belonging, and awakening genuine human connection — allowing each person to be seen, heard, and met in their becoming.

Individual Art Therapy”
Individual art therapy sessions offer a quiet, protected space for your personal path of exploration and transformation. Each one-to-one meeting is carefully attuned to your unique life situation, inner questions, and developmental rhythm.

Sessions may weave together mindful conversation, artistic process, and moments of stillness or guided imagery. Rather than focusing on outcomes or diagnoses, the work honours what unfolds naturally through image, gesture, colour, and reflection, supporting integration on emotional, psychological, and spiritual levels.

Sessions are available in person or online, meeting you where you are, and supporting your journey toward greater wholeness, clarity, and inner balance.

How much does it cost?

Individual art therapy is offered in a committed block of 15 sessions, with a sliding scale of RM2,000–3,750, honouring both accessibility and the depth of the therapeutic journey, depending on whether sessions are held online or in person.
